This event was a photographer’s dream – the Dubai skyline made an incredible backdrop and looked equally brilliant both day and night; the set design, lighting and branding were all beautiful (nice work Cheerful Twentyfirst); my partners in content creation are some of my favourite people in the world (love you GLO) and my clients couldn’t have been lovelier to work with – from the initial brief to the laughs behind the scenes – they made the whole thing look like a breeze.
The Wall Street Journal pride themselves on being ‘the definitive source of news and information through the lens of business, finance, economics and money . . . and are key to understanding it’ – I’m feeling very lucky to have had an opportunity to photograph top journalists, business leaders and politicians discussing the importance of acting now on climate change.
I’m sharing a selection of shots which showcase the kind of images I like to take at an event like this. You’ll see a variety of images – the journalists and speakers from differing angles, audience shots, branding, team shots, party pics and more . Look out for the A listers too – photographing John Kerry and Michael Regan was definitely one of the highlights for me!
