Edinburgh Photographer – – – Echo Shoppe
What a shoot! I am so excited to share a few of my favourite images from this shoot with Echo – Edinburgh’s very own one stop shop for people who want to make steps to cut out single-use plastic and do their bit to protect the environment. Echo sells everything from reusable coffee cups and food wraps, to shampoo bars and biodegradable glitter. Their products are ethical, useful and beautiful and I was delighted to be able to capture a selection of them in all of their glory!
I was introduced to Shannon and Leo through the wonderful mentoring service Bright Red Triangle. Bright Red Triangle works with Napier University students and graduates to offer free business advice for anyone looking to start or grow their own businesses. They have been invaluable to Shannon and Leo at this stage in their business and I can’t thank them enough for the introduction!
I first met with Shannon and Leo a couple of months ago to chat through what kind of shots they were looking for. They are such warm and friendly people and I was instantly excited about their business and the shoot. We discussed location, models and which products to focus on and quickly got a date in the diary.
The day of the shoot was glorious. We met early for some relaxed headshots – taking a lovely variety using the gorgeous walls and trees in the area as a backdrop. The models then arrived for a very relaxed and fun shoot – I’m not going to lie, the beer and mimosa helped – it was easy to capture natural smiles with this lot! We focused on capturing the products in context – in this case a picnic with friends.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the shoot.
I absolutely love the above headshots of Shannon and Leo. Having a great photo of yourself is so important when running a business. People love to know who they are buying from.
