Capturing the Female Founders Growth Summit 2025 with Pathways Forward

What a day! This week I had the privilege of photographing the Female Founders Growth Summit 2025  hosted by Pathways Forward and Female Fouders Rise. The event was held at RBS Gogarburn in Edinburgh and brought together founders, investors, and partners who are driving real change for women in business.

As an event photographer in Edinburgh, I get to work at some incredible gatherings, but this one is always a highlight. The Female Founders Growth Summit combines inspiring speakers, practical workshops, and high-energy networking — a perfect mix of moments to capture on camera. This year’s line-up included Dex Hunter-Torricke, Kate Prince and Jamie Genevieve, who all had the audience completely engaged. From the stage to the coffee queues, the energy was electric.

For me, photography at events like this isn’t just about documenting who was there. It’s about telling the story: the atmosphere in the room, the expressions of people connecting, the moments of inspiration that ripple through the audience.

A few key themes stood out from the summit:

• Collaboration matters. The Pathways Pledge is uniting organisations across Scotland to create a more inclusive ecosystem.

• Visibility is powerful. Female founders taking the stage sends a message to the next generation.

• Action, not just talk. From funding discussions to building networks, the focus was on practical change.
