Personal Branding Shoot

It was such a pleasure to meet inspirational and absolutely lovely ultra-runner Meryl Cooper for her personal branding shoot which took place in Edinburgh pre lockdown. Meryl was launching her health and running coaching business and needed photos for her website and social media. Before the shoot we had a chat on the phone about what kind of images she was looking for – a really important step when booking a personal branding shoot which allows me to understand you and your brand and so that we can discuss ideas and location.

We met in the Skylark which is a really lovely cafe/bar in Portobello, Edinburgh (back when cafes were open – remember that?!) and then set off to a few different pre-planned places. One of my key aims in a personal branding shoot is to get plenty of variety and a change in location really helps with that (a couple of outfit changes is a great idea too and Meryl definitely nailed that!).
